This short journey through Rishikesh, Bikaner and Gangtok with the ups and downs, the missed trains and taxi rides, the heartbreak and the mending of old friendships, the quarrels and self-discovery, sweeps Jaya and Yogi away, and indeed us...。该剧讲述了八十年代初期，刘素珍、王国胜、周宏伟三人是中学同学。王国胜和周宏伟是很要好的朋友，他们都爱上了刘素珍。刘素珍阴差阳错地嫁给了王国胜之后发生的一系列故事。。来自诺丁汉的男孩托莫（Thomas Turgoose 饰）只身来到英国伦敦，却遭到抢劫。无家可归的托莫偶然结识年纪相仿热爱照相的波兰移民马尔克（Piotr Jagiello 饰），他总算找到暂时的落脚之处。马尔克的爸爸白天工作，这段时间两个好朋友四处游荡，或帮助托莫偷衣服，或者与马尔克心仪的咖啡馆女郎玛丽亚（Ireneusz Czop 饰）聊天玩笑，或从好心的杂货店老板格莱姆（Perry Benson 饰）那里赚点小钱。生活无聊，却又无忧无虑。当然这一切马尔克的父亲全不知情，直到他某天他回家撞见两个朋友打闹的场面…… 本片荣获2009年伦敦影评人奖英国年度最佳青年演员奖（Thomas Turgoose）。。
