小狐仙瑶玲失手将天国珍宝《圆梦书》散落到了人间，无奈之下，她不得不下凡寻找此物，然而，瑶玲不过只是一个六岁的孩子，凡间有趣的事情太多，她左顾右盼，几乎忘记了要寻找《圆梦书》的使命。 一次偶然中，瑶玲遇见了名为江贤的小学三年级男生，瑶玲答应江贤帮助他实现一个愿望，于是两人结伴踏上了寻找《圆梦书》的旅程。邪恶的黑狐仙亦对《圆梦书》虎视眈眈，她是瑶玲最强劲的敌人和对手。江贤喜欢上了名为瑶兰的女生，然而，他并不知道的是，其实瑶兰正是瑶玲在遇到危机情况后的变身。随着时间的推移，《圆梦书》的下落渐渐浮出水面，瑶玲最终能够完成她的任务吗？。Disarmingly realistic in its depiction of the realities of frontier life, Heartland is a strong antidote to the cliches of traditional Westerns. This semi-documentary slice of life is based on the diaries of Elmore Randall Stewart about her days on the Wyoming frontier in the early 20th century. It's a strongly feminist statement about a woman raising her small daughter alone and scrapping for a living by working for a shy Scottish rancher. Director Richard Pearce brings an endearing touch to a film that is helped greatly by the dazzling cinematography of Fred Murphy. Conchata Ferrell and Rip Torn star in this small film that substitutes veracity for a high-powered plot. Pearce worked as a cinematographer on Woodstock and other documentaries before making his directorial debut. Winner of the 1980 Berlin Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival。
