《融和不容易mixed-ish》原定在《喜新不厌旧》美国时间5月7日「BecomingBow」一集中以后门试映集登场，不过现在此集将抽起改为在正剧中播出。由Petermingtian6.comSaji及KenyaBarris执笔的《融和不容易》描述RainbowJohnson（TraceeEllisRoss饰）在80年代所过的混合种族生活，Rainbow的父母Paul及Alicia为了更好的家庭生活而从嬉皮士社区搬到郊区，Rainbow及其姐弟入读了当地主流学校，而他们在此既不够黑亦不够白。。根据真实事件改编，讲述了苏联军官Alexander Pechersky的英雄事迹。故事发生在索比堡，它作为波兰4大集中营之一，是一个死亡集中营。而Alexander Pechersky却做到了一件不可能的事情：他在三周的时间，组织了一次被囚人员的反抗行动且成功逃离了大批人员。虽然有人在途中被击倒，剩下来的生者纷纷加入了反法西斯的游击队中去。。Here we go again!
