爾仔（吳肇軒飾演）女友茹可以（盧惠敏飾演）在法國工作假期計劃期間突然失蹤，爾仔守住可以留下的書店希望等對方歸來。及後書店生意每況愈下，爾仔為維持書店，於是接受好友拖羅（繆浩昌飾演）的意見，在書店開設「身後事務所」以增加收入，專責代處理逝者遺物，卻因此遇上亡魂，為死者解開心結。。爱奇艺自制剧开发中心总经理戴莹表示，在2016年，爱奇艺将出品超过30部网剧，且上不封顶。现场签约的7部网剧分别是《无间道》、《爵迹》、《美人为馅》、《我的朋友陈白露小姐》、《寻找前世之旅》、《老九门》、《百变五侠之我是大明星》。。Love and desire fill the minds of villagers in a Hungarian speaking village in Transylvania, Romania, even in their old age.
