故事发生在2003年的夏天，朵朵（杨子姗饰）是刚刚踏出校园大门的应届毕业生，对未来充满了希冀和幻想。一次偶然中，朵朵和一个名叫贺言（郑恺饰）的男人产生了矛盾，两人互不相让闹得不可开交。之后，朵朵在机缘巧合之下进入了贺言所在的公司工作，贺言成为了他的上司。 表面上，贺言是一个游手好闲吊儿郎当的男人，但实际上，他的内心里一直留存着游戏制作人的梦想。在了解到了贺言的梦想后，朵朵对他刮目相看。一场意外中，贺言坠楼双腿无法行走，陷入了人生的低谷，是朵朵不离不弃的陪伴在他的身边，鼓励他重新振作起来。。Monk and his friends arrive in New York to locate the man whom they were told has information about Trudy's murder. When they arrive at the hotel, the Latvian ambassador who is also staying there is killed. Monk saw the killer but only his ear.
