Totsugeki! Hakata gurentai is his first feature and last 8mm film. Haven't watched it yet myself, but from the looks of it, this is very much reminescent of eighties and nineties v-cinema, sort of like early Miike (only made in 1978). There is considerably more dialogue than in his earlier films, but it doesn't seem too complicated plotw...。1938年秋，华北地区日军占领安县县城，随即日军开始布局围剿安县周边八路军抗日根据地，为保护抗日根据地军民的安全，八路军排长吕长顺临危受命带领战士以及残存的国民党队伍以简陋的武器在装备精良的日军面前展开最残酷的血战……。
